Owner & Director, Jennifer Soto (formerly Rosoff)

Jennifer graduated in 2007 from The University of Tampa with a B.A. in Communication and a focus in Dance and Marketing. Just a few years after graduating she started The Creative Movement Company, in 2011. Through her business she focuses on making movement accessible to all, putting together artistic events, and creating successful after school and summer camp programming to combine arts and academics. She creates curriculum and provides dance classes to under-served populations such trauma survivors, at-risk youth, patients in healthcare settings, caregivers, and individuals with physical disabilities and special needs. Jennifer teaches all ages from toddlers to seniors in a variety of classes including: Musical Theatre, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Improv, Creative Movement, Hip Hop, Latin Dance, and other dances from around the world. Her accomplishments include being grant recipient of Emily’s List for her work with violence survivors and for her work throughout the Tampa Bay community.

Through her desire for helping those in the community she is involved with New Tampa Players as an ongoing choreographer/backstage helper for their mainstage productions as well as working with Penguin Project and Ampersand Theatre Group both providing musical theatre opportunities for those with varying special needs.  She values the opportunity to be a positive role model and to spend each day with laughter and kindness. As her college professor and dance mentor always said, “Do It With Love.”
